Membership Refund Policy
This Membership Refund Policy defines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for membership fees paid to OSHRM.
1. General Policy
All membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once membership has been activated, unless otherwise stated in writing by the organization.
2. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
Refunds may be issued in cases of:
Duplicate payments
Incorrect charges due to system or administrative errors
Such requests must be submitted within 7 days of the payment date.
3. Membership Benefits Utilization
Once any membership benefit has been accessed (including digital platforms, discounts, member rates, or participation in member-only events), the membership shall be deemed active and no refund will be applicable.
4. Cancellation Requests
Membership cancellation does not entitle the member to any refund of paid fees.
5. Organization-Initiated Cancellations
If the organization cancels or withdraws a membership for administrative or compliance reasons, a prorated refund may be considered at management’s discretion.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14–21 business days using the original method of payment.
7. Policy Amendments
The organization reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
